Tim O'Connor
Tim is a highly experienced business leader having spent more than 20 years in the wealth-management profession, with a CV that covers a wide range of business channels both in the UK and internationally. He is the Group Chief Executive and founder of Fabric Group, comprising Fabric Private Office and Fabric Business Solutions. Tim has worked for a variety of blue-chip institutions and in particular held senior positions at Barclays Wealth and UBS Wealth Management. Tim is qualified across a number of disciplines and holds both the CFA Investment Management Certificate and Advanced Financial Planning Certificate, as well as various leadership, banking and stockbroking qualifications. He is also an accredited Six Sigma practitioner and a partner and founder of StratEx Partners LLP.
Ian Pigney
Ian has been working in senior technology and change roles in the financial services sector for more than 25 years. With experience in many of the large private banks he brings a deep understanding of the impact technology can have on the customer journey and the operational efficiency of an investment firm. Ian has worked with Tim in several firms over the past 15 years as they honed the vision for a top class, full-service investment offering. His role at Fabric is to ensure that the firm continues to improve its effectiveness through the implementation of leading processes and technologies.
Chris Darbyshire
Chris is our Chief Investment Officer and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process and function. He has specialised in strategic asset allocation, tactical asset allocation and security-selection for over a decade, principally at Seven Investment Management where - as Chief Investment Officer - he led a team pioneering the use of low-cost, passive investments in multi-asset portfolios. Latterly he was also the Chief Investment Officer at Walker Crips Group PLC, where he also shared management responsibility for the investment management division. Prior to his career as a CIO, Chris worked in investment banking, specialising in structured products at Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas. While at BNP Paribas, Chris also led the bank’s equity research team for the media industry. Chris is a graduate of Oxford University.
Matthew Brown
As the Head of Relationship Management at Fabric Private Office, Matt brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our team. Having previously worked at a Top 100 IFA firm in London’s West End, Matt's journey with our company began in its very infancy, and he has been instrumental in shaping our commitment to delivering unparalleled client service and communication. With a Level 4 qualification, Matt possesses an extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of wealth planning including investments, pensions, tax planning, protection, and mortgages, in addition to the other intricate nuances of the financial industry. His dedication to staying at the forefront of industry trends and system-based knowledge, often working in parallel with other client appointed professionals to ensure that our clients receive the highest standard of care and advice. He has attained many industry qualifications and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and Advanced Mortgage advice. Matt has a wealth of experience in providing wide ranging and holistic support services to Wealth Managers, as well as implementing operational efficiencies, processes, and strategic planning throughout the business.
Samantha Wilks
Samantha brings more than 20 years experience, working as an FCCA accountant in a variety of roles within the financial services industry, not for profit/charity sector and public sector (Education). She has worked in a cross section of different businesses and cultures - from small companies to large multinational plc's, reporting and working to strategic/board level.
Gabriela Silion
Gabriela is a highly experienced Risk & Compliance specialist with over 25 years in the Financial Services sector. She holds a Diploma in Financial Planning and a Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice from the Chartered Insurance Institute, and has completed courses in Combating Financial Crime from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Gabriela joined TPIO in 2024 to head up the risk and compliance function as the company continues to grow. She has a proven track record of leading compliance and risk change programmes, developing new methodologies, and overseeing financial crime investigations. Gabriela’s diverse experience spans various sectors, making her adept at creating robust risk management frameworks and ensuring regulatory alignment.
Noel Craven
Noel is an experienced and accomplished Wealth Management and Investment professional having held senior positions through his 20+ years working directly with Private Clients. Achieving a distinction in the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment for the Private Client Investment Advice and Management exam demonstrates the high level of understanding Noel has of the complexities that need to be considered in planning and structuring clients financial affairs. As Head of Investment Solutions for a Swiss Private Bank he was responsible for the investment process and products whilst building strong relationships with International clients. This experience was transferred to the International Team at a highly respected Wealth Manager where his understanding of offshore custody and the use of company and trust structures in financial planning were in-demand. Most recently his expertise has been utilised with UK clients to ensure the maximised use of tax efficient wrappers through both their correct implementation and housing of investments to create the best outcomes. Joining with Fabric Private Office in 2023 is allowing Noel to further apply his experience for the benefit of clients through the holistic wealth planning solution offered by the firm.
Hannah Roberts
Hannah has spent most of her professional career in the financial services industry after having graduated with a BA Honours degree in Business Management with Financial Services. In 2020 Hannah became an essential member of the Fabric Private Office team, bringing with her valuable experience from her previous role in a top London Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) firm. Liaising closely with the firm’s advisers, wealth planning team and operations Hannah is well skilled and takes great pride in offering clients an exceptional level of service. She is driven to understand and support our clients with all their needs.
George Elliott
George is building his professional career in the wealth management industry and has enjoyed successful client service roles in the city. He was most recently employed by Hoxton Capital Management, where he quickly progressed to paraplanner working with the firm's high net worth clients in the UK and internationally. His time at Hoxton was instrumental in developing his expertise in financial analysis and wealth strategy development, contributing significantly to client engagement. George joined Fabric Private Office in late 2023, where he currently applies his accumulated knowledge and experience as an Account Executive. He is currently working towards his Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Advice, with the goal of taking greater responsibility in the Group's client facing activities.
Lisa Pigney
Lisa is a seasoned financial professional with a diverse background. Her initial foray into the financial services sector post-education led to working in various positions in a merchant bank, culminating in trading in the FX markets, dealing in currency options and then co-running a specialist trading desk. She took a hiatus to focus on raising her family and explore life abroad with a period living overseas. Upon returning Lisa developed her expertise as a finance manager, contributing her skills to both the education and construction industries. Lisa has now returned to financial services and has been at Fabric Private Office since the beginning of 2022.
Hannah Alexander
With more than 20 years of invaluable experience within the Financial Services sector, Hannah has played integral roles in ensuring compliance, supporting external compliance teams, and overseeing income streams. Her extensive career has also encompassed responsibilities related to recruitment, HR matters and the successful execution of various special projects. Hannah is a consummate professional, bringing a diverse skill set to her role at The Private Investment Office. In her current position, she works closely with the Directors and the Chief Operating Officer, managing important tasks and projects for the organisation.
Gemma Pearson
Gemma joined Fabric Private Office as Operations Manager in March 2025. Highly qualified in financial services, Gemma brings broad and deep understanding of business operations, advisory needs, and back-office functions. She is an experienced project and people manager with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach. Gemma's role includes using management information to drive improvements and shape strategy, as well as managing and growing our team. Gemma is passionate about delivering great client service and is committed to ensuring systematic and compliant operations.
John Carroll
John is a seasoned wealth management professional with over 28 years of industry experience, having held leadership roles across some of the most respected financial institutions. Most recently, he served as Head of UK Stockbroking at Fidelity International, where he was responsible for launching and the subsequent management and growth, of the online stock trading service. Prior to Fidelity, John held leadership positions at Barclays, UBS, and Schroders, driving innovation and performance across diverse business units. With a deep-rooted passion for business change and transformation, John has successfully delivered numerous large-scale change programmes, aligning technology, operations, and strategy to unlock growth and resilience. His approach blends corporate discipline with pragmatic execution, making him a trusted advisor in both enterprise and entrepreneurial settings. John has a particular interest in the SME sector, where he leverages his corporate experience to help smaller companies implement best-practice solutions, professionalise their operations, and prepare for successful exits. His ability to translate complex challenges into actionable strategies makes him a valuable partner for businesses navigating growth, transition, or investment readiness.
Katy Davies
Katy Davies brings experience from Wealth Management and City- based Private Client firms, where she led Protection desks with a focus on bespoke financial solutions for clients including high net worth individuals, companies, families and retirees. With a Diploma for Financial Advisors and Certificates in Mortgages and Protection, she is well-versed in holistic financial planning. Now part of the Relationship Management team at Fabric Private Office, Katy works closely with Advisers, Account Executives and Technical departments to deliver seamless, client-focussed outcomes that reflect both strategic performance and personal aspirations. She believes that effective financial planning should reflect not only performance metrics but also personal goals, values, and emotions - ensuring every strategy is as meaningful as it is effective.
Dean Breyley
After starting and running several of his own businesses, Dean has spent the last 11 years helping other SME business owners to get what they want from their organisations. Having helped over 130 companies across 50+ industries throughout Europe, Dean has a breadth of experience in consulting for Start-Ups, Scale-Ups, Family Run, VC/PE Backed, and Global Organisations. Helping them to get clarity on where they are, get unstuck, and realise the full potential of their business assets. Dean was at the forefront of helping to establish a business operating system (EOS) here in Europe and was the Leader of the European EOS Community here up until 2024, before becoming Managing Director of Fabric Business Solutions.
Matthew Hague
Matt has a background in engineering design and product strategy. He spent the majority of his career on the leadership team of a transport technology business, stepping away after its IPO in 2020. More recently, he served as early investor and CEO of a renewable energy start-up. Following its acquisition in 2023, Matt now holds diverse business interests spanning land and property investment, commercial solar power, and niche electric vehicle manufacturing. With 30 years of experience helping grow and scale innovative technology and engineering companies, Matt is now part of the Fabric team, supporting SME businesses in their growth.
Lyn McCartney
With a career foundation in the Royal Air Force, Lyn brings discipline, adaptability, and precision to every aspect of her work. Having served as PA to the Chair of the City Police, Lyn has extensive experience managing high-level schedules, sensitive information, and complex stakeholder relationships. Extensive travel around the world has given Lyn a global outlook and an ability to adapt quickly in fast-changing environments. Now based in Exeter, Lyn supports Dean, the Managing Director of Fabric Business Solutions, ensuring his schedule, priorities, and strategic objectives run seamlessly. Known for a calm, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise, Lyn plays a pivotal role in enabling the business to operate at its best.
Gareth Munn
Gareth has spent his entire 20 plus year career working with and advising private individuals across a variety of asset classes, life stages and disciplines. His specialisms are in helping successful senior executives, members of the private equity community and entrepreneurs/business owners achieve their long term financial goals. His emphasis is always on trying to make the complicated simple and easy to understand. He has a personal focus on improving the finances of disabled people and carers of disabled children, a cause which is very close to his heart. Having held senior positions at both large international banks and also mid-tier investment management firms, Gareth has a unique perspective on the power of a service-based firm and also one which can give a broad range of advice. It was the unique ability of PLW to deliver both of these in a truly holistic approach which brought him to the firm in 2022.
Kelly Kluman
Kelly is an Executive Director and trusted voice at the leadership table, bringing a distinctive human-centric perspective to a world driven by strategy and growth. Known for her ability to see beyond the surface, she helps high-achieving individuals think, lead, and evolve at a deeper level. A former client turned ambassador of the brand ethos, Kelly embodies the company’s core values of trust, precision, and an unwavering commitment to results. Raised around the rag trade in its golden era in Fitzrovia, she grew up immersed in a culture of creativity, big ideas, and bold business moves — shaping her instinct for opportunity and vision. Her career spans multiple industries, with a primary focus on property, complemented by experience in design, project management, event management, and sales. Kelly is known for her uncompromising work ethic and her ability to turn complexity into progress. In a room full of financiers, she is the unicorn — bridging strategy with insight, bringing a fresh lens to established thinking, and connecting the dots others often don’t see. Shenara Abraham
Shenara brings over 15 years of experience advising high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. Prior to joining Fabric, she held roles at top-tier accounting firms and private banks, most recently at Barclays. She is a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Financial Planner specialising in complex inheritance tax, pension, and trust planning. Known for her ability to simplify the complex, Shenara is passionate about raising technical standards with particular interest in helping business owners and families navigate generational wealth transitions.
Adam Cotton
Adam is an entrepreneur, advisor, and coach with over 20 years of experience in the FX and payments industry. As Founder and CEO of his own business, he spent 17 years building it from a spare bedroom into an FCA-regulated company processing more than £2.3 billion in transactions before successfully exiting in 2022. Having navigated every stage of growth, from startup pressures to scaling challenges and eventual sale, Adam now draws on that first-hand experience to help other founders and business owners to do the same. Combining his background in fintech with training as a Business and Life Coach, he works with clients to build stronger teams, scale with clarity and prepare confidently for growth or exit.
Brandon Harris
Brandon is an experienced teacher, coach, and facilitator, dedicated to helping business owners and leadership teams become more effective and accountable. His journey as an entrepreneur — through the highs, lows, and everything in between — has given him deep insight and a practical understanding of how businesses could and should work. It’s an intuitive, real-world know-how that can only be gained by having truly “been there.” Brandon’s entrepreneurial life has been filled with opportunities, challenges, and ultimately, success. After winning first prize in the Shell Young Entrepreneur Competition, earning an HND in Engineering, gaining valuable sales experience, and completing an MBA at Henley, he went on to start his own gym business. Over a 20-year tenure, Brandon grew and evolved the business by introducing specialist services tailored to customer needs. After selling the company in 2019, he discovered EOS® and now applies his experience and passion as a Business Architect with Fabric.
Martin Andrew
Martin has spent the last 15 years working with SMEs and, since 2018, has specialised as a Certified EOS Implementer®. During this time, he has helped more than 60 companies across diverse industries clarify, simplify, and achieve their vision using the Entrepreneurial Operating System® (EOS). Prior to this, Martin spent over 20 years in senior leadership roles within international organisations, gaining firsthand experience of the challenges leaders face when scaling and sustaining growth across Europe and beyond. His journey began in his early 20s when he helped set up and run a successful travel business. In addition, Martin chairs several peer-to-peer leadership groups for entrepreneurs and business owners, supporting them to learn from each other and strengthen their leadership impact.
Kevin Harrington
Kevin Harrington is an accomplished business professional with a richly varied career that spans technology, telecoms, payments, media, and publishing. As a Business Architect at Fabric, Kevin leverages decades of multi-sector leadership experience to specialise in strategic business succession and exit planning for SME owners. His track record includes C-suite roles in technology and digital services; he served as Chief Marketing Officer at The Panoply, an AIM-listed digital transformation consultancy, and as Chief Commercial Officer at Tungsten Network, a global e-invoicing leader. Alongside these, Kevin has held pivotal management and marketing roles at several renowned organisations, including BBC Worldwide, Sony UK, and Sodexo Motivation Solutions as well as a number of SMEs.
Stephen Lewin
Stephen Lewin is an accomplished business leader and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in international engineering and manufacturing. As the former Managing Director and owner of a global subcontracting firm, he has built a strong track record in strategic growth, operational excellence, and business innovation. A long-standing advocate for health and wellbeing, and former chairman of a community gym, Stephen is now leading the development of My Macro Go — an advanced, AI-driven nutrition and fitness platform set for release soon. His leadership style combines commercial acumen with forward-thinking innovation, consistently delivering sustainable results and long-term value.
David Pugh
David Pugh is a former CEO with over 20 years of international leadership experience and a passion for helping leaders and teams reach their full potential. He understands the realities of growth, change, and building strong, purpose-led cultures through firsthand experience leading global businesses. As CEO of The Fry Group, David guided the company through major transformation and expansion, strengthening its performance and culture before leading it to a successful sale. Now based in Bristol, he draws on that experience to coach leaders and teams to clarify their strategy, lead with confidence, and create lasting impact — while also volunteering with local organisations supporting people experiencing homelessnes.
Chris Everard
Chris Everard is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader who has built his career around starting, growing, and selling businesses. He has launched seven ventures, successfully sold five, is in the process of selling a sixth, and experienced the tough reality of closing a seventh when a partner absconded with funds — giving him a rare depth of insight into what truly creates and destroys exit value. His journey began in retail design, where he founded Sector Design in the early 1990s. Within a few years, the company became a market leader, working with global retail brands and winning international awards, before Chris sold it via a Management Buy-Out in 2009. Since then, he has built and exited ventures in high-end events, employee benefits, flood defence systems, and financial services support, each teaching him the importance of scalability, resilience, and creating businesses that buyers genuinely want. Alongside his business ventures, Chris has coached Rugby Union teams on international tours and served as a Leicester Tigers Vice President and Academy Coach. Today, he mentors and advises business owners and directors, helping them achieve clarity, growth, and strong exits. With seven businesses behind him and multiple successful sales, Chris brings real-world credibility and hard-earned perspective to the challenges and opportunities of building and exiting a business.
Richard Morris
Richard is a seasoned entrepreneur, coach, and Certified EOS Implementer® who helps leaders build businesses where people love to work and results follow naturally. After co-founding a tech startup that floated for $2.3 billion, he turned his focus to coaching entrepreneurs and leadership teams on aligning purpose, people, and performance. Alongside his commercial work, Richard co-founded TheGivingMachine, a charity enabling everyday generosity that supports hundreds of causes. Driven by curiosity, humour, and a belief that business can be a force for good, he continues to champion impact-led growth across both corporate and social sectors.
Tim Harris
Tim is a Business Coach, EOS Implementer, Atlantic Rower and keynote speaker with over 25 years of experience, including 12 years as a Global Head in the financial sector. Having led teams across multiple regions and cultures, he brings a rare blend of corporate rigour, entrepreneurial thinking, and human insight to the businesses he supports. After experiencing the toll of burnout and the challenges of reinvention, Tim retrained as a Business & Personal Coach and now helps founders and leadership teams build stronger, healthier organisations that can grow without breaking. His approach with SMEs combines straight-talking practicality with empathy and perspective, shaped by a career that’s taken him from boardrooms to the Atlantic Ocean, which he rowed across to raise money for teenage mental health. Tim is passionate about helping ambitious leaders find growth outside their comfort zones, and the balance between performance and wellbeing.
Natalie Harris
Throughout her career, Natalie has led commercial strategy and sales execution for both high-growth startups and global enterprises, delivering solutions that transform customer engagement and underpin long-term business success. Specialising in SaaS collaboration, she played a pivotal role in shaping WebEx’s go-to-market strategy across EMEA, driving significant revenue growth ahead of its acquisition by Cisco Systems in 2007. At Cisco, Natalie led the UK&I Unified Collaboration business overseeing a recurring revenue stream, managing multiple teams of direct sales professionals as well as strategic channel partnerships to accelerate market expansion and customer success. Recognised for her ability to translate complex technology solutions into tangible business outcomes, Natalie brings deep commercial acumen, strategic leadership and experience engaging at C-suite level. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Economics from Warwick University (and an ARDS competition motor racing licence).
Brett Jackson
Experienced Chief Operating Officer, Chief of Staff, Business Owner and Wealth Manager. 25 years international experience leading teams and delivering growth and management strategy in business, finance, national security, and the British Army. A fusion of corporate, diplomatic and military experience - skilled in finance, operations, strategic communication, complex problem solving, leadership and management. A driven and accomplished leader and communicator, tested in multiple complex environments - generating new client business, securing corporate finance, delivering bespoke financial solutions to high-net-worth clients, and managing projects and multilateral global operations.
Paul Miles
With over 50 years in financial services and 10+ years running SilverBack, I help financial advisory & wealth management firms transform their businesses for continual growth. I know firsthand the struggles of business leadership — I built, ran, and navigated my own advisory firm through cycles of growth, challenge, and change. I speak your language and deeply understand the pain points, not just the theory. Today, I bring that hard-earned insight to firms seeking clarity, momentum, and sustainable expansion. I don’t just consult — I support implementation, course-correct when needed, and hold leadership teams to account to get results.
Roy Lauder
Roy Lauder has spent the past 20 years leading a consulting firm focused on helping mid-sized, owner-managed companies achieve their goals of growth and succession. Having run three businesses of his own, he brings first-hand experience and strong commercial insight to every engagement. An engineer by background, Roy began his career building a railway in war-torn Iraq before moving on to projects constructing oil rigs in Scotland and South Korea. He later co-founded a company developing power station projects in emerging markets and served as Regional Director for a European utility based in Southeast Asia before returning to the UK to establish his consulting firm. Over the years, Roy has worked with management teams across a wide range of sectors—from banking and insurance to oil & gas and manufacturing. He is passionate about helping leadership teams define their vision, strategy, and culture to drive sustainable growth and long-term value. His collaborative approach focuses on uniting diverse teams around shared goals and delivering practical, results-driven solutions. Roy has recently joined Fabric, bringing his wealth of experience and strategic perspective to the team.
Oliver Andrews
Oliver is a strategic business leader with more than 20 years of experience scaling global SaaS businesses. He founded and spent 15 years leading a venture backed B2B health tech company that operated in 14 countries with the backing of leading institutional investors. Following his exit he has supported organisations across a wide range of sectors including AI, sports technology, legal services, corporate health and construction. Before moving into technology and consulting Oliver began his career in investment banking working at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Nomura across London, Tokyo and Hong Kong.
Simon Di Marino
Simon is a seasoned investments and wealth management professional with 25 years of industry experience across retail, international, and corporate client segments. He began his career in derivatives, spending a decade in front-office roles at a major US investment bank before transitioning his expertise into the Wealth Management sector. Over the past 15 years at a leading UK private bank, Simon has held a range of leadership roles spanning product development, investment strategy, and distribution. Most recently, Simon led investment distribution teams across UK and International Wealth Management, where he worked closely with entrepreneurs and business owners, helping them navigate complex financial needs and long-term wealth planning.
Andrew Power
Andrew Power has over thirty years experience as a business consultant, having spent his professional career as a partner at Deloitte, Accenture and McKinsey, both in the U.K., North America and Continental Europe. He has deep expertise in strategy development and execution, business transformation, and leveraging technology for business advantage. In particular, these skills have been utilised to help companies grow and transform, including via mergers and acquisitions. Most recently Andrew has been a non-executive director of a number of public and private financial services companies, as well as cultural institutions. He joined Fabric Business Solutions as Chair. He believes its mission and business model is well attuned to helping entrepreneurs and business owners maximise the upside potential of their business. Andrew has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Masters from Cambridge University.
Mark Boulton
Mark is a commercially focused leader with over 30 years of broad industry experience. After completing an apprenticeship in advanced micro-electronics and systems engineering, he began a commercial career centred on the sales and marketing of enterprise software and systems across both public and private sectors. He has founded and run his own businesses on multiple occasions, held senior positions at global technology companies including IBM, IFS, and Dell Technologies, and served in executive roles within several high-growth small and mid-sized organisations. Mark’s approach combines a structured method to strategy and plan development with a pragmatic, real-world focus on execution, enabling him to act as a trusted advisor across diverse business environments. Over the past eight years, Mark has worked extensively with private equity investment organisations, developing deep expertise within the owner-managed SME sector.
